Ready, Set, March!
‘Skyvibe’ Astrology Forecast for March 2024

March is a busy month astrologically!
We have the combination of the water and fire elements thanks to Pisces and Aries.
The beginning of the astrological new year and the equinox.
And….the first eclipse of the year.
There will also be other cosmic ingredients added to the mix, making it an action packed and busy month.
March starts with Mercury-the planet of communication and perception-making its move into bold and feisty Aries on the 11th.
The combination of the trickster and the ram will see ideas coming in thick and fast, a speeding up of our thoughts (this Gemini native does not need that at all!), and our attention focused on putting our thoughts and ideas into action!
On the very same day, The New Moon graces us with her promise of what is yet to come, at 20 degrees of Pisces. Talk about a mixed combo!
The New Moon in the sign of the mystical and spiritual Pisces, will turn our attention toward creative pursuits, our imagination and daydreams, and our connection to our intuition and spirit.
The wide conjunction to Neptune (the ruler of Pisces), will only exacerbate the already dreamy quality of this New Moon.
With the influence of Mercury in Aries weighing strongly on this day, we may feel a pull between creating something new for ourselves as we move forward and considering others feelings and how they fit into the equation.
My suggestion is to tune into what it is that you would like to manifest in your world, yet also be open to being empathetic to the needs of others, and how your ideas may benefit the greater good.
Venus dances into Pisces the very next day and will soften the way we relate to others.
We may discover that we feel more compassionate towards all living creatures and that kindness and understanding become values that we hold dear.
Our connections with others can take on an almost ethereal tone with Venus in Pisces, and we may find that we are drawn to spending time with our loved ones, exploring the arts, opening up to our spiritual side, or sharing our dreams and the messages that they hold.
The Pisces stellium will encourage us to engage in otherworldly activities and seek ways of connecting to our higher self and spirit, the universe, God, or whatever you choose to call it.
Your psychic senses may start to become more prominent during this phase, so make sure to ground and clear your energy on a regular basis.
It will be helpful to have a journal or notepad to record the ideas and plans that are coming from Mercury in Aries, and the intuitive guidance that will filter in through the senses thanks to the abundance of Pisces energy.
With the conjunction of Mercury and the North Node on the 19th of March we may get a sneak peek of our bigger purpose and how that will play out for us.
Forging new paths and sharing our wisdom through writing and teaching or the sharing of information are all possibilities.
We will gain more of an idea of how this looks when the Sun forms a conjunction with the NN on or around the 5th of April and the Solar Eclipse and the NN meet on the 8th/9th of April.
The Sun enters Aries on March the 21st and signifies the beginning of the astrological New Year and the first Equinox of the year.
For those of you who read my last article, you will know that I spoke about cycles and how we all resonate to different cycles depending on our personal energies and influences.
Having said that, the move of the Sun into Aries and the astro New Year, will have an impact on the majority of us.
This is a major “get your butt into gear phase”, one that helps to stop procrastinating, and start taking action!
So, if you have been feeling a bit blah since the calendar new year started, now is the time to take advantage of this very motivational and spicy energy, and ask yourself “which trails would I like to blaze?”
“What do I want to start and which actions do I need to take to make it happen?”
This is the perfect time to look at drawing up a 12 month plan and the steps you need to take to bring it to fruition.
Now…as for the Equinox.
This is a day of equal light and dark, no matter which hemisphere you reside in.
The northern hemisphere will be welcoming more light back in after their spiral down into Winter, and the southern hemisphere will be welcoming the darkness. And by darkness I don’t mean sad and heartbreaking events (although they can most definitely be part of the experience), I am referring to winding down from the frantic energy of Summer and feeling driven to be out there in the world and engaging in Yang activities.
The darkness that I’m speaking about refers to allowing ourselves to rest, prioritising what we need to do, and letting everything else go-for now.
As we move towards Samhain and the Winter Solstice, we will feel drawn to come back to our centre and seek replenishment and nurturing.
This will be the opposite for the northern hemisphere, who are waking up and stretching their proverbial arms and putting the feelers out for newness.
The winding down in the southern hemisphere may sound at odds with the very driven energy of Aries.
Yet, we may be motivated to seek new ways to bring balance into our worlds or develop a new self-care routine that focuses on Aries traits such as exercise and looking after our bodies.
The options are as limitless as you are! Be open to seeing what unfolds for you.
Mars’ move into Pisces on March the 23rd, adds some more oomph to an already strong stellium.
Mars will motivate Pisces to become passionate about their feelings and may increase an already sensitive nature.
Mars is watered down in Pisces and is far from direct. They may even choose to go behind the scenes to avoid conflict-which paradoxically can create it.
There’s a tendency to avoid anger or aggressive feelings with this placement, which can lead to self-soothing with addictive devices.
My suggestion throughout this phase would be to channel intense feelings into some form of creative pursuit. That way the feelings are given the space to move and not build up into something bigger than they are.
If there is an altruistic pursuit that you would like to support-now is the time to get behind it!
The first eclipse of 2024 will take place at 5 degrees of Libra on the 25th of March.
This a lunar eclipse which means that it takes place with the Full Moon.
This is the second Libra eclipse in the Aries/Libra eclipse axis that started last year.
If you cast your mind back to October 2023, you may get an idea of what is coming to light now.
How have your relationships been throughout this period? Are there any patterns that have emerged that you would like to work on?
How do you turn up in relationships? Do you speak your truth, or do you hold your voice within so as to not rock the boat?
What are you brining to relationships? Do you take responsibility for your part within the connections closest to you, or do you project your wounds outwards?
The above are questions to ponder during the eclipse phase.
The Full Moon will generally illuminate what it is that we need to see…the eclipse energy will intensify it, so that you can no longer ignore it.
Libra is represented by the scales in astrology and will show us what we need to do to bring our life into balance.
Perhaps there is a decision that needs to be made around this time.
We may like to deepen our connection with some and let go of connections that no longer align with who we are.
Whatever the case, negotiations and seeing experiences from both perspectives will be beneficial.
With three planets in Libra myself, I am a firm believer that this sign likes things to be resolved.
We either resolve things so that we can mend and deepen our connections, or we let go completely and move onto new experiences.
The choice is yours!
Just know that with the upcoming Mercury Retrograde in Aries (the opposite sign of Libra), and another Solar Eclipse in Libra in October, this theme may play out for a little while yet.
And there we have it! Another month of astrological juiciness for us to consume.
The themes for this month are definitely centred around endings and beginnings!
Pisces being the ruler of the 12th house in astrology will influence us to clean out the closet so to speak. Releasing tears and fears as we go.
Aries supports us in coming back to ourselves and deciding how we would like to move forward now that we have let go of some of the things that were holding us back.
HOPE is wishing for something to happen,
COURAGE is making it happen!
