Shedding the Layers
‘Skyvibe’ Astrology Forecast for November 2024
By Krishna Dodds.
The cosmic energies of the last few months have been intense.
We had the Pisces Lunar Eclipse in September, and the massive Full Moon in Aries (forming a square to Pluto), mid-October.
These aspects have not been easy… particularly, the Aries FM.
We are being prompted (forced is probably a better word), to examine what is and isn’t working in our lives.
This could range from jobs to relationships, to money, and health.
How this turns up in your world depends upon your individual life and the transiting aspects being made to your natal chart.
The pattern that I can see here though is one of upheaval. Seemingly sudden events that may leave us reeling.
The carpet being pulled from underneath our feet.
Things that have been simmering deep down inside of us finally reaching boiling point.
November offers us the opportunity to complete the transformation that the other aspects brought to the fore.
November kicks off with a New Moon in Scorpio bestowing us with the ability to consciously turn within and face anything that we’ve been keeping hidden.
Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio) is leaving Capricorn for the last time later this month, so there is a sense that we need to tie up loose ends and face any shadows and fears that we have previously chosen to ignore.
This is not work for the faint hearted. It takes courage to face those parts of ourselves that we would rather ignore.
Yet if we can take a deep dive within and go to the edges of our emotions, we can bring about a metaphorical rebirth.
What do you need to let go of? Be honest with yourself. This can be something in your inner and outer world… or both.
Keeping in line with the themes of Scorpio, we may decide that it’s time to call in ways to release jealousy, control, or the need to possess others.
We may decide that we would like to feel more empowered and sovereign within ourselves and start taking the steps to move towards that.
Scorpio is a water sign, so our emotions and psychic senses will be heightened over the next few days.
Trust your felt senses and the niggly feelings that made themselves known to you. These will be the signposts that guide you to let go of what no longer supports you and to birth what does.
A big dose of passion may be just the thing we need to kickstart the life/death/rebirth cycle.
On the 3rd of November, Mercury moves into Sagittarius for an extended stay thanks to the retrograde period that begins on November the 28th.
Mercury in Saggy can help us to “zoom out” and see life from a broader lens, yet it can also water down Mercury’s ability to pay attention to detail.
We may strongly identify with our opinions and beliefs throughout this time and fail to take into account the wisdom of others.
The restriction of the retrograde period may have us believing that the grass is greener on the other side and that the decisions made now are the best for us.
My suggestion around this is to tune into why you feel this way. Are the choices you’re making resulting in a “jumping out of the frying pan into the fire” kind of scenario?
If so, you must just need a break so that your mind can have the space and freedom it requires to make illuminated decisions.
Some astrology teachings speak of not making important decisions during the Mercury RX period. This is because we may not be fully informed, and the lesson may not be finished. Which means… that it comes back around to have another go at a different time.
Make decisions because you want your life to look different or for there to be a different outcome-not because you are reacting to something or someone.
On November the 5th, Mars moves into Leo, bringing vitality and a BIG energy.
Mars in Leo can help us to get things done-especially if we are able to take centre stage while doing it!
This double fire energy can help us to tune into the creative side of ourselves and go after what we want.
There is a lot of drive with this planetary duo, and you may feel inspired to tick some of those goals off your list.
While this combination of sign and planet can bring a sense of attentiveness to love and romance, there is also a tendency to be domineering and bossy.
Keep an eye on these traits and be prepared to listen to what others have to say.
Because…SHOCK, HORROR…it’s not always about you!
The move of Venus into Capricorn on the 12th speaks of approaching our relationships with practicality.
We want to make sure that our values align with those that we share our time with and that the foundations we are laying down within our relationships and friendships are solid.
We may start to feel more ambitious around this time and meet a love interest at work or hear of a job opportunity through a significant other.
The Full Moon rises @ 24 degrees of Taurus on November 15th/16th depending on your location on earth.
This FM illuminates our finances and our relationship with money. It will also bring insights around how we make our money and whether it’s in alignment with our values.
The Taurus FM can show us where we have been lazy and perhaps even wasting money to avoid dealing with our emotions.
The earth element of Taurus encourages us to literally place our feet on the ground, get practical, and create a plan to move forward with the themes I’ve mentioned above.
Uranus is making a tight conjunction/opposition to the FM…which means that if we don’t make the changes that are required to propel us forward, there may be an event that shakes us out of our stagnation and into something new.
Uranus/Moon energy can have an unsettling effect on our nervous system, so it’s important to keep yourself grounded and regulated throughout this FM period.
Saturn stations direct on November the 16th and will begin the slow move forward on the 20th.
Saturn has been in retrograde motion since the 30th of June, bringing possible restrictions, obstacles and lessons.
Pluto moves into Aquarius on the exact same day; bringing to an end the themes that have been prominent for the last two years as Pluto danced around the final degrees of Capricorn.
It may feel as if heaviness is lifting at this time. Like we can take a breath of fresh air and know that something has been laid to rest once and for all.
If life has been feeling like Groundhog Day, it is now time to walk on a different path and embrace a new dawn.
The month ends with the move of the Sun into Sagittarius on the 22nd, bringing with it a feeling of freedom and expansion.
Saggy inspires us to be adventurous with life, let go of the seriousness, and play.
As I mentioned earlier, Mercury is retrograde in Saggy, so our minds may feel a little scattered or not fully online. Having said that, we don’t need to think too much when our spirit is guiding us.
Carve out some time to explore somewhere new, go on a road trip, or do something spontaneous.
Sometimes a change of scenery is all we need to see ourselves and our lives from a different perspective.
Wishing you peace, love, and happiness, as we navigate the cosmic pathways of November.
Stardust blessings,
Krishna
