I haven’t done a Lunar report for quite a while but Octobers New and Full Moons look too interesting to resist.
We have the New Moon at 8 Libra conjunct Jupiter and square to Mars on Oct 1st. This could look like the beginning of a rather lucrative Lunar month and in some ways that could be right.
The New Moon of course is always about seed planting for the weeks ahead so with Jupiter in the mix the seeds need to be big ones. This is mostly about confidence and with the square to Mars it brings up the need to pluck up the courage to tackle things you would normally shy away from.
Mars, newly in Capricorn is more resilient and determined than its usual ‘wham bam thank you mam’ nature. This makes this combo not only highly driven but fuelled with an acute amount of concentration and focus.
Jupiter with Mars has the potential to knock down walls, expand outside your everyday routine and make you face certain fears around getting what you want.
You must also remember that both the New Moon and Jupiter are in Libra so other people will also come into the picture, possibly in a partnership or balancing act of some kind.
Jupiter always relies on your level of faith and believe to springboard its energy, so even if you have trepidations the need to ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ will be what will get things off the ground.
Do your best to conjure up as much confidence as you can.
The Full Moon brings things to a head. The fruit is out there on the vine and the culmination of the last 2 weeks is emotionally on the boil.
The Full Moon on October 16th is in Aries conjunct Uranus and in a loose square to Pluto. This energy seems a far cry from the more opportunistic New Moon of two weeks prior. There is a real edge to this Full Moon. It has a breakthrough vibration, taking things to another level.
The outcome of the Full Moon will rely totally on how you played the New Moon and the cultivation of your crop. If your belief in yourself has been strong enough to sprout your seeds into full bloom, then this Full Moon will have some kind of freeing effect upon you, changing you somewhat in a more positive and affirming direction.
If you feel you may have chickened out and did not create any form of opportunity, you could see this reflected in a lot of weeds. With the Full Moon in Aries conjunct Uranus this could bring in frustration, anger and a feeling of defeat, like a child that didn’t get its own way. The Pluto square will remind you of how your resistance keeps you feeling powerless.
Take advantage of the Lunar Month by looking at the glass half full and by believing you can do it. Just calm down, realise you have support then venture into some exciting new territory.
Remember the planets won’t make you do anything. The choice is always in your hands. They will provide the wave for you to ride, how you surf it is up to you.
